Quilting my new Fav

So with all my endless hours of free time I decided to take up quilting. Its quite a blasty blast once you get into it. Patch work quilts are so charming, each scrap tells a story. I would love to make a quilt out of old dresses one day, I think that would be so chic.
Oh and Winston loves to help me, when I lay it out he walks all over it he's funny and quite curious;)

Winston.

So I have been struggling out here alone with nothing to do all day. Here is a typical day in the life of Aubrey Veva Smith, I wake up around 11, make my dear hubby some breakfast. He leaves. I watch some old enchanting movie, then either go to the library, or the west county mall. Write in my journal, read a little (I'm really in to the french revolution right now which is weird ha ha). I clean, do some laundry. Go to a zumba class at 5:45. Come home put on the tube, and surf the net the rest of the evening. So my life was getting pretty drab so I told my husband that I needed a friend a pet friend. He said ah ok what kind? I said a puppy would be kinda fun, but for some odd reason I have been craving a teacup pig! I have been online and found one for a decent price in Illinois. So about 2 weeks ago me and my friend Jacquie drove 3 hours to go pick him up. Bj named him Winston. We love him! He was a little bugger at first but now he is getting used to us. And I am so proud of myself I potty trained him! I take him on two walks a day morning and night with his red leash. He quite enjoys walks now, at first he wasn't too sure about the whole idea, but now he is itching to get out the door. He loves food obviously he is a pig, but its sounds gross but we seriously never need to sweep or vacum cause he licks up every bitsy crumb the eye can see. He runs to the kitchen every time were in their snorty for food. And he absolutely loves chocolate just like me, ;) His favorite thing to do is burrow down in a blanket idealy all my nice blankets or comforters that I don't want him in! He recently has had a problem of itching his right side, he has itched it so hard lately he itched all of his hair off in certain areas it worries me. So now our entire apartment is all soften up with books on all the wall corners, shirts wrapped around chair legs and towels draped around the brick on our fireplace. I hope this helps, our apartment is in havoc because of wintstons itchy craze.
But we love him he is a new part of our little family.

my first opening as a married woman

It is a Thursday summery night here in Creve Couer, Missouri. I have nothing to do so I decided that I might add our new family to the blogging world. To be honest I have never been much of a blogger, in addition to it only took me like 2 hours to set this dang thing up ha ha! But I must say now that I am getting the hang of it its quite entertaining. Well a little about our family me and BJ were married 54 days ago on June 5th 2010. It was a day I will never forget, the best day of a girls life! We had a lovely honeymoon under the Mexican sun. And as soon as we got home packed up and headed to St. Louis MO for BJ summer job, and thats where we are now;) TTYL
